The Water Board

Standing Sub-Committees:

Check out what the members of the Board are up to on your behalf. If you have any interest in participating, or have any questions, please reach out to the Committee Chairs directly. Any and all shareholders that have interest in participating, are invited to join the below listed Committees.

Policies and Procedures Committee

Chair: Holly Sloan – board@packcreekwatercompany.com

This committee is tasked with documenting the policy and procedures for how the company operates (e.g., share transfers, late dues and assessments, emergency contacts, etc.).  The Board is working on a Water Meter Damage policy among other changes this year.

Operations Committee

Chair: Jeff Mattson– board@packcreekwatercompany.com

The main focus of this committee is water system operations including emergency procedures, water metering and well testing.

Strategic Planning Committee

Chair: Scott Brown - board@packcreekwatercompany.com

This committee is tasked with Water System Sustainability (water delivery and storage and maintenance, repair and replacement of system infrastructure), Water Source Protection and Quality (water reliability, quality and testing) and Water Rights Management (current uses / metering, legal accountability, record keeping and future needs). Nate has starting working with some new software that will allow us to map, inventory and estimate life cycle and replacement costs for company infrastructure (wells, storage tanks, pumps, valves, water lines, meters, etc.). A well-defined system infrastructure repair and replacement strategy is critical for our long-term capital budget/funding needs and should continue to be an important focus area for this committee going forward.

Communications and Records/Website Committee

 Chair: Adrienne Ruzic – board@packcreekwatercompany.com

This committee is tasked with refining procedures for communications and record keeping.  Old company records which are now in tubs need to be organized, digitized and archived. More recent company documentation is in digital form but needs to be organized.  Cliff Crutchfield designed a rough prototype PCWC website and populated it with numerous, scanned Water Company documents.  The Board has just recently contracted the services of Adrienne Ruzic to design and maintain a PCWC website.  A functional website could have potentially many uses, such as providing information to shareholders and as a means of archiving important water company records.
